About KalaChetana Volvoi
KalaChetana Volvoi is one of Goa’s leading cultural organizations, dedicated to promoting Konkani theatre and Goan folk arts. Founded by renowned actor and director Rajdeep Naik, the group has produced over 80 professional dramas and conducted more than 8000 shows across India and abroad. Known for their record-setting performances and powerful storytelling, KalaChetana has nurtured hundreds of local artists and preserved traditional art forms like Dekhni, Fugdi, Ghode Modni, and Jagor. The group also organizes annual drama festivals, workshops, and cultural events, making it a cornerstone of Goa’s performing arts scene.
A Record-Breaking Legacy
On 18th May 2025, Kala Chetana Volvoi Sansthan created history by staging the drama ‘Ganv Zala Zantto’ seven times in a single day at one venue, earning recognition in the World Records Book of India. This feat highlights our unwavering dedication to theatre and community engagement.

Our Legacy in Theatre (1998–2025)
We’ve created over 70+ original Konkani productions, performed in thousands of shows, and nurtured hundreds of artists.
Here’s a glimpse of our incredible journey:
Milestone Productions
1999: Shiri Re Shiri Andhatari – First Goan drama to cross 100 shows.
2004: Mixing Fixing – First Goan drama (incl. tiatrs) to achieve 259 shows and a popular VCD release.
2008: O Bai – 200 shows + VCD release; special show at Kalangan, Mangalore.
2010–2015: Back-to-back hits like 3 Idiots, Shortcut, Ankwar Company, Hari Vithala, Twinkle Twinkle (100+ shows each).
2016: Selffi – Winner, Sankalp Theatre Drama Competition.
2022: Kani Navya Yugachi – 185 shows.
2025: Ganv Zala Zantto – World Record performance staged 7 times in a single day at one location. World Records Book of India.
